About the Owner
Hi! I wanted to introduce myself to you. My name is Camille and I am the founder of CammiCakez Bakeshop!
My baking journey started in 2010 when my daughter had just turned one and I ordered my first custom cake. The moment she saw her cake was ultimately the catalyst that sparked my passion for baking. I saw how happy it made her and I thought it would be a really fun and special idea to start making her birthday cakes myself from Scratch.
After years of practice and perfecting my recipes, I finally wanted to pursue my passion more seriously.
By designation, I am a licensed Paralegal and have been in the legal field for years. But my dream has always been to open my own boutique bakery.
One of my favourite things about baking is creating bespoke desserts and being able to bring to life designs envisioned by the client. I feel the utmost gratitude for being able to be part of a client's special occasion. I also love experimenting with different flavours! Baking is a mix of science and art, and everyday is a new adventure, especially for the tastebuds.
